Join us for a special storytime celebrating books that inspire courage, kindness, and self-expression — even when they’ve been challenged or banned. We’ll read Hair Love by Matthew A. Cherry along with other beloved picture books that honor individuality, family, and the freedom to read.
Though Banned Books Week was celebrated in October, at Little Nestlings we believe in supporting access to diverse stories all year long.
After storytime, children are invited to create their own bookmarks to take home — a reminder that everyone’s story matters.
✨ Recommended for ages 2–6, but all are welcome.
