Everyone likes getting personal mail, but almost no one finds time to sit down and write a letter, so we are gathering to send joy from Portland. Write to friends, relatives, former teachers, and others who’d love to hear from you. Or write to a stranger as an intentional act of kindness. Portland Idealists will provide letter writing and drawing supplies, letter writing tips, and stamps, and deliver your letters to the Post Office. We are partnering with Letters Against Isolation to deliver mail to isolated seniors, and The World Needs More Love Letters to surprise folks who could use a lift. All ages and languages welcome. Please RSVP to ensure we have enough supplies.
