Outgrown clothes, shoes, books, toys, and gear? Give them a second life and discover some new-to-you treasures for your kids! Join families from across the Portland metro area for a fun, community-wide reuse event that helps families save money while reducing waste and caring for our environment.
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 23 | Donation Drop-Off: 3–6 p.m.
Please bring gently used children’s clothing sizes NB-14, Halloween costumes, toys, books, and gear. Items cannot be accepted on the Swap Event day.
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 24 | Swap Event: 8 a.m.–2 p.m.
Come shop, swap, and give kids’ items a second life! Everyone is welcome—you do not need to bring items to participate.
Enjoy a fun, family-friendly day featuring:
🌿 Nature and sustainability activities
📚 Story time
🎨 Kids’ activities
♻️ Hands-on learning and exhibits from local sustainability organizations
How it works: $25 to fill a bag with clothing, or make a “give as you wish” donation for individual items.
Help your family save money, reduce waste, and keep useful kids’ items in circulation. Proceeds cover event costs and support sustainability-focused initiatives that benefit our community and environment.
Editor’s note: This event is a community submission.
