Lunar New Year 2025: The Year of the Snake
Join Lan Su Chinese Garden for the most iconic Lunar New Year celebration in the Pacific Northwest! Welcome The Year of the Snake by exploring Lan Su adorned with dazzling lantern sculptures from China and taking part in interactive cultural activities that bring the celebration to life.
Family-friendly activities during daytime hours will include:

Free Parking
Free parking will be available on a first come, first served basis at the lot behind the garden at NW Flanders Street between 2nd and 3rd Avenues.

Wednesday, January 29, 9:00-11:00am

– Caishen (財神) God of Wealth Meet & Greet
– Sssslither Into The New Year with Creature Teachers! Goodbye Dragon, Hello Snake! (Snake and Bearded Dragon Meet & Greet)
– First 500 visitors will receive a hongbao (紅包) or Chinese red envelope with a special Lunar New Year message.
