NOTE: Participants MUST have attended Part One to attend this event.
At this two part tween craft program, participants will make and decorate a small to medium paper mache animal (or monster?) of their choosing! On June 4th, we will make an armature (the structure that determines the shape of the project) out of newspaper, masking tape, and some other bits and pieces. Then we will build up our critters by applying strips of newspaper dipped in a glue mixture. On June 11th, we’ll paint our dried paper mache critters and attach assorted decor to finish them so they’ll be ready to display at home!
Designed for 5th to 8th graders. This event is free, but registration is required, as the program is limited to eight participants. For more information, email loteen@lakeoswego.city(link sends e-mail) or contact the Information Desk at 503-697-6580.
Editor’s note: This event is a community submission.
