Mimmit is well awarded educational and energy filled Finnish music group visiting Portland.

Mimmit songs are very educational and energetic. The music style roots from the Finnish Karelian area. Mimmit has fusioned and promoted folk music as children’s music a lot.

Mimmit-group performs in Finnish and in English. Pauliina Lerche, who is the founder and lead of Mimmit was invited last December to the President’s castle in Helsinki to the Independence Day ball for her work as musician and artist, and her efforts to spread music to all.

Mimmit received finalist awards from the USA Christmas/Holiday Songwriting Competition with their Flakes of snow song.
