Discover the extraordinary and magical life of Eva Castellanoz: campesina, wife, mother, cultural guardian, artist, and curandera.
After immigrating from Mexico, Eva worked the fields alongside her parents, but that was before she discovered her true calling—she was a crown maker. Through her heritage and artistry, she became a healer, binding the hearts of her community while surviving heartbreak of her own.
Eva’s life was full of everyday magic—from her childhood in Texas to marriage and motherhood in Nyssa, Oregon, Eva created a life that is full of art, community, and healing.
Performances are 11 am-12 pm and 2 pm-3 pm.
Editor’s note: This event is a community submission.
