Head to the annual Portland Pride Waterfront Festival and Parade, one of the largest donation-based LGBTQIA2S+ Pride events on the west coast, attracting tens of thousands of visitors to Portland each year. LGBTQIA2S+ people travel from all over the Pacific Northwest and beyond to express their individuality and celebrate community in a safe, open environment. There is a $10 suggested donation, all donations go to Making Pride Happen each year and to support Pride Northwest’s year round programming. And don’t forget about the Portland Pride Parade on Sunday, July 19!
The Portland Pride Waterfront Festival & Parade is located at the Tom McCall Waterfront Park. It extends down Naito Pkwy from just north of Ash St. to the Morrison Bridge. There are three gate entrances on SW Naito Parkway: SW Ash St, SW Pine St., and SW Harvey Milk St. The VIP entrance is facing south, located on the river side (east) under the Morrison Bridge.
