A monthly work party at Sabin Community Orchard with even more fun!
We’ll be closing the nearby streets and adding a party vibe! PBOT Play Streets trailer FULL of goodies will be on deck providing summer fun; free books from our friends Street Books and activities with Active Children Portland. Games, music, fun, orchard harvesting and learning about this uniquely Portland space.
Thanks to Lloyd Eco District lending library for the use of their speakers, tents and games!
Play Streets will help turn the nearby street into a pop-up community hub for socializing, play, and physical activity.
Meanwhile, in the orchard we’ll be continuing to mulch the orchard with wood chips as well as complete other seasonal maintenance tasks. Please wear closed toed shoes and dress for the weather. We’ll have tools and gloves for participants to use, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer!
