Founded in 1954, this historic and free event draws nearly 20,000 attendees each summer, offering a blend of modern and medieval activities. Head to the 73rd annual Summer Festival on July 17-18, 2026, featuring the traditional Summer Community Parade on July 18th at 10 AM, followed by the Sylvan Archers’ International Archery Tournament from July 18-19.
Experience live music, entertainment, and family-friendly activities across multiple stages, including the popular Main Stage and the interactive Family Stage in the Renaissance Village. Explore the Vendor Village with over 100 booths offering diverse shopping and dining options. Admission to the festival is free, with various activities and vendors charging fees. Don’t miss the Castle Building Contest and other creative contests held during the festivities.
