Loads of super fun soft gym play equipment will be set out, to help promote prosocial & big body play. *Caretakers of all stripes are very welcome to come play!*

These drop-in sessions are offered on a “by donation” basis.
The first 30 minutes is dedicated to socializing and free play (getting settled in). The following 20 minutes is dedicated to singing, signing, and sharing a related story. Content will be focused on basic Signed English [ASL] signs, surrounding topics such as Food, Family, Toys, Colors, Manners and Feelings.
The final 25 minutes are set aside for social play + cleanup and goodbyes.

Wally and Lara Jones, MEd – [former owners of the Upper Westside Play Gym] have both been teachers (both academic and movement instructors) for decades, and have taught Baby Sign off and on for many of those years. These meetups are geared towards babies & toddlers ages 0-3, but their adults are the ones who will focus on learning ASL signs to share with their children…over time.
