Join us for Storybook Studio Morning at Little Nestlings Early Learning Center.
This free community event invites children and families into a cozy morning of storytelling and art. We’ll begin with a simple storytime, then children will use open-ended materials to create a character, setting, or scene inspired by the story.
This event is designed for young children who love books, pretend play, drawing, collage, building, and imagination. It offers families a glimpse into how stories can become art, movement, conversation, and creative expression at Little Nestlings.
Featured child activity: Create a story-inspired character or scene.
After storytime, children will choose from paper, collage scraps, drawing materials, fabric pieces, and simple found materials to make something connected to the story. Their creation might be a character, a place, an object, or something entirely imagined.
Children may practice: Language development, Story comprehension, Creative expression, Fine motor skills, Imaginative thinking, Confidence sharing ideas
