Join the Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) on Thursday, September 3 from 3-5:30 p.m. at the Multnomah Arts Center (7688 SW Capitol Highway, Portland, OR 97219) for a fun, community bike fair! Activities will include:
– Learn to ride lessons for kids and adults
– Bike skills course to practice safe riding
– Free Quick-fix Bike Repair to make sure your bike is rolling smoothly and safely
– Guided community ride: a low-stress 1-2 mile ride to practice biking on city streets
– Free helmet distribution and helmet fitting to make sure you’re protected
Participants are encouraged to bring their own bikes. There will be some bikes of various sizes available for children and adults to borrow for the Learn to Ride lessons.
This event is hosted in partnership with the Multnomah Arts Center and the Community Cycling Center.
