Miniature raconteur, Ringmaster Laura Heit performs teeny tiny circus acts inside matchboxes.
“The smallest, greatest, bravest, show in the world!” Audiences of all ages will delight in the magic and folly of this miniature circus. There’s Ruby the strong lady, Donna the magician and her magic banana, Bill the Un-Scary Pirate and his 7 flying chairs, a fire breathing dragon and a Brave bunny who is shot out of a canon, all no bigger that a match stick. The entire show is projected simultaneously on a screen behind the table making the little tiny details of this portable variety show larger than life.
Showtimes are at 11am and 2pm.
The Matchbox Circus was originally commissioned by the Music Center of Los Angeles and was performed on stage at Walt Disney Hall as a part of the International Los Angeles Toy Theater festival 2008.
