Climb aboard for a memorable rail adventure through the heart of Portland! The Oregon Rail Heritage Center’s popular weekend train rides return May 23 through October 11, 2026, with departures every Saturday and Sunday behind historic diesel locomotive BNSF 3613.

Passengers can ride in an open-air car or relax in a vintage air-conditioned coach while taking in views of Portland’s skyline, the riverfront, local wildlife, and the timeless charm of Oaks Park.
Your ticket also includes admission to the Oregon Rail Heritage Center, where guests can explore Portland’s rich rail history and see historic locomotives up close.
