The German Haus will be adorned with festive decorations for its annual Weihnachtsmarkt – a Portland version of the traditional German Christmas Market featuring craftspeople and artisans from around the northwest selling their holiday gifts. Local entertainment, food vendors, homemade Glühwein and baked goods all add to the holiday spirit. A children’s activity area will offer photos with Santa. Authentic crafts and ornaments from Germany will be available for purchase along with Lebkuchen herzen – heart shaped gingerbread cookies!
