Catlin Gabel Summer Camps: For Every Age & Interest

Camps start July 8 and run through August 9, 2024.

Catlin Gabel School’s camps are run by teachers, coaches, and artists who love what they do! They are designed with different interests and ages in mind, from preschoolers to teens. Activities include arts and crafts, sports, LEGO robotics, board game design, creative writing, photography, day camps, and more, with before and after care available. The school is conveniently located in SW Portland, just off of Highway 26 and is minutes from downtown.

Day Camps

Weekly day camps engage students in exploration, play, and creation, both indoors and outside, with different themes and activities planned throughout the summer. These camps typically fill quickly and run all five weeks. Details on weekly activities are online.

Honey Hollow Creative Corner / Science Adventure (ages 6-9)
Explorers (ages 9-12)

Sports Camps

Looking for fun athletic camps for campers to build skills and connections? Options are available both through Catlin Gabel and partner camps. Details regarding specific weeks are available online.
Learn the Olympic Sport of Fencing: ½ day (ages 6-12)
Sports Spectacular (ages 9-14)
Boxing 101: Fitness, Fighting, Self Defense: ½ day (ages 12-18)

Partner Camp: Anthony Newman Multi-Sport Camps: ½ day/ full day (ages 6-14)

Creative Arts & Activities Camps

Campers can explore arts and crafts through all sorts of mediums, with many camps including the outdoors as well as excursions beyond campus. Details regarding specific weeks are available online.

STEM Camps

For campers interested in engineering concepts, as well as creating and building things, there are a range of activities offered through the school and partner camps. Details regarding specific weeks are available online.

Camp Costs

Full-day Catlin Gabel camps $445 per week; Half-day $265 per week. Partner costs vary and are listed on the Catlin Gabel Summer Camp website.

Extended Care

Extended care is available for campers (Catlin Gabel and partner camps) for ages 4-14.
Before Care runs from 7:30-9 a.m. The cost is $80 per week.
After Care runs from 3-6 p.m. The cost is $110 per week.
The cost for Before and After Care is $160 per week.
