Lovegood Performing Arts Company is giving away tuition for one student to participate in a 2021 summer kids camp, workshop or intensive.
Our in-person Musical Theater Kids Camps for ages 7 to 11 are a fun and easy way to introduce budding performers to musical theater where they can start to learn how to act, dance, and sing.
Our July 12-16 camp attendees will learn and perform Magic Tree House: Knight at Dawn Kids and our July 19-23 camp will learn and perform A Year with Frog and Toad Kids.
We are excited to also have in-person dance, improv, technical theater, audition, and callback summer workshops and intensives for students ages 7 to 22. These workshops and intensives range from partial-day to weeklong experiences. We have opportunities for all skill levels and even have a family improv workshop for kids and adults!
Lovegood is a unique performing arts experience where students get to perform on our very own blackbox style stage that is a part of our educational space. This allows us to have a full technical theater program for students that are not excited about being in the spotlight, but that want to still be involved in the performing arts. This summer the technical theater workshops will work alongside the directors of our summer musical theater kids camps to build sets, props, and run the lights and sound for the shows.
Lovegood was formed in 2020 as a new performing arts company for families looking for a safe and welcoming place for their students to belong while they explore the performing arts. We are located in Beaverton and serve students all over the Portland metro area.
