PDX parent is excited to announce the grand opening of Gracie Barra SW Portland. They have opened a new Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Academy in Southwest Portland and they are giving away a FREE month of jiu jitsu training.
Great for kids to build focus, self confidence, and agility in kids 4 and up.
Jiu Jitsu is founded on the concept that a smaller, weaker person can successfully defend themselves against a bigger, stronger, heavier opponent by using technique, leverage, and most notably, taking the fight to the ground to defeat the opponent.
We seek to train body, mind and spirit through the highest level of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instruction. We envision the art as a vehicle for individual development and the strengthening of the family spirit, going beyond the winning-losing or contest philosophy. – Master Carlos Gracie, Jr.
