From our friends at LA Linen
LA Linen is a certified small business best known for its table covers and event linens. As a manufacturer producing high-quality goods in California, our competitive advantage is in the really durable, fine-craftsmanship of our products and the variety of colors and fabrics that we offer. As the Pandemic came to the US, we knew we needed to do something to make an impact on our employees, our families, and the community.
We began creating mask prototypes at the end of February and by March, we began offering our super-durable, machine-washable masks on our site. We soon realized that our product was not only making a big impact but we had the opportunity to give back in a significant way. That’s why we have already donated thousands of masks to organizations and individuals across the U.S. For every 2 masks we sell, we’re able to donate 1.
Locally, we’ve had the pleasure of donating masks to many organizations including:
- Fieldstone Senior Living Community
- Oregon Jewish Museum and Center for Holocaust Education
- Portland Fire & Rescue
- Portland Homeless Family Solutions
- Portland VA Medical Center
- Ronald McDonald House Charities of Oregon & SW Washington
- Shriners Hospital for Children
- Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic
Our masks have been rated at 79% BFE (Bacterial Filtration Effectiveness) and Delta P3.8 Breathability by ANAB Accredited Nelson Labs. We care deeply about the well-being of everyone in the community and hope to help flatten the curve. So far, our customers agree that these masks not only ship out quickly (in 1 business day) but are comfortable and soft.
“I have purchased more masks than I can count. I need ear holders for quick on and off and I’m extremely sensitive to fabric textures. I also wear large bifocals, so fogging, even with nose wires, has been a huge problem. FINALLY found these masks and they’re PERFECT. They’re soft, easy off and on, adjustable on my nose, no fogging…Shipped fast too. THANK YOU!!!” – Gayle W.
“I just got mine today. It is really nice, so I ordered two more in different colors.” – Janet W.
“Thank you for making these face masks. I love the quality and the fact that the masks are handmade in California! I also have your tablecloths which I love and use. Keep up the good work and please say thank you to all the employees! #customer4life” – Lila A.
“I applaud this company for going with the times and doing something to keep people working. These are made in Los Angeles and the quality is top-notch. What’s more, very personal customer service. Came quickly. I did not order a lot but was treated like a major company with a big purchase. Really sweet. I was impressed.” – Terry G.
“These masks are the first product I’ve ever bought based on an online ad: Soft double material, good coverage, & actually comfortable ear bands, Highly recommend!” – Arlene A.
In our normal line of work, we often work with weddings, conventions, parties, and events as deadlines. So we are used to working under pressure and making sure orders ship out as promised. Today with Masks being an essential need for most daily activities, making sure your order ships out as promised is as important as any event we have covered. We look forward to the day when we can focus on our core product line but in the meantime, we are completely dedicated to supporting families and communities across the U.S. with fantastic masks. Use code PDX15 at checkout to receive 15% off your entire purchase of 2 or more packs of masks or specialty masks.
We also love to hear from our customers, share your pictures using hashtag #LALMASKS and we’ll donate an extra mask in your honor! We’re all in this together.
