Portland Winter Ice Rink

Portland Winter Ice Rink is Downtown for the Holidays with fun theme nights each week, great local food and beverage options, and an observation deck right next to the rink for non-skating friends and family. There’s something for everyone to enjoy.

The Woodsy Winter Village will transport visitors to a cartoon rendition of Portland neighborhoods, including businesses, landmarks, and nature—designed in collaboration with Mike Bennett, a Portland-based artist, and certified public joy creator.


Oregon Children’s Theatre

Gather ’round the table with Impulse! The award-winning teen improv troupe at the Oregon Children’s Theatre is back again for another season of classic comedic games, ready to fill your plates with tom-foolery and frivolity. Join them for this deliciously delightful show chock-full of cheer!

Music Together of Portland

Music Together of Portland’s Seasonal Sing-Along classes are a wonderful way to welcome the winter season with songs of peace, light, and coziness, plus some Music Together favorites! Families sing, dance, laugh and play with their little ones, up to age 8, in a fun and joyful community of music-makers. These classes will help brighten your family’s holiday season with music!

Hoyt Arboretum

Get inspired by the forest treasures found at Hoyt Arboretum to create your own personal crafts!

Hoyt Arboretum Nature Educators will help you create simple, nature crafts using leaves, cones, acorns, sticks, lichens, and more! All materials will be provided with crafting suggestions and instructions available.

Crafts are great for ages 5+, but all are welcome!

This is a free, drop-in program.
