Were your children sad to miss fireworks this summer? Make it up to them by celebrating at the Portland Water Lantern Festival. Ticket price includes guaranteed pick up of each one, so you can watch your lantern float away and still sleep easy at night. Pack a picnic or feast at one of the local food trucks on site, and enjoy the live music and vendors. Don’t forget your camera! This will be a night to remember.

Where: Laurelhurst Park.
Cost: $31.96 per adult, $14.47 per youth, includes lantern supplies and a commemorative bag, plus entrance to the festival area. Kids ages 0-7 pay enter without paying the fee, but you’ll have to buy a ticket if you want a lantern for that child. A deluxe ticket at $45.96 includes a mandala throw and ticket protection.
