OMSI’s newest feature exhibit, Marvel: Universe of Super Heroes, celebrates more than 80 years of Marvel history, from the iconic characters to the creators who’ve told the stories.

This breathtaking exhibition features hundreds of artifacts including original comic book pages, interactive displays, life-size statues of your favorite Super Heroes, and costumes and props from Marvel films, many of which have never been on public display outside this exhibition.

Key highlights include:

• Rare comic art: Admire original comics, including Marvel Comics #1 (1939) “The Sub-Mariner,” page 12 – the only known surviving piece of authentic art from the very first Marvel comic.
  
  
• Genuine movie props: See iconic costumes and movie props from this modern, mythological pantheon in the mightiest Marvel exhibition ever assembled.
  
  
• Interactive set designs: Stroll through the streets of New York City and peek into artists’ studios to learn about the makers behind the comics
