On November 1, the ongoing federal government shutdown paused SNAP benefits across the country, including for over 750,000 Oregonians. Although Governor Tina Kotek announced last week that full benefits would be restored, the future of the program’s funding — and the impact of the delay in benefits — is still causing instability for Portland families.

If you or someone you know is in need of groceries or a meal, please utilize the following resources on this list. We’ve included options that are available multiple days a week, as well as businesses offering kid specific meals, but you can also go to the Food Finder via the Oregon Food Bank or Urban Gleaners or check out this comprehensive resource list if you’re looking for more options.
