Sweet Day has limited Summer time openings for children 2–12 years old. They have adjusted their NE Irvington center to limit your child’s contacts to a small, stable cohort, and have implemented an extensive health screening process, and sanitation schedule; with these measures in place, Sweet Day is happy to offer children a summer rich in arts, discovery, and peer interaction.

Garden Home Montessori School

Garden Home is a licensed Montessori School offering Art, Music, Cooking, Dance, and Gardening lessons through the Montessori curriculum in both spoken English and American Sign Language (ASL). They provide care for ages 2.5–6 years in a fun and enthusiastic environment that offers a wide range of challenging materials to support the whole child as they grow and develop.

The Lumberyard Bike Park

The Lumberyard is thrilled that Summer Camps can begin June 15th, sign up now! The park is currently closed to the public for riding but plans to re-open just as soon as they are allowed! Their bike shop is open by appointment Tuesday through Saturday. Reopening plans are evolving so stay tuned and — most importantly — stay well!

Northwest Reading Clinic is open for virtual testing and one-on-one treatment! It’s the same personalized sessions conducted by skilled clinicians they’ve offered for 35 years, but on Zoom or Skype instead. NWRC specializes in the remediation of reading, spelling and comprehension difficulties, including dyslexia. They also work on writing and study skills.
