Enjoy a rare opportunity to step back in time with a visit to the Stauffer-Will Farm to learn about life on an 1870’s farm and create projects to take home as souvenirs!
This hands-on, living history event is a wonderful way to learn Oregon history, and make keepsakes to take the fun home with you.
Please understand that due to the nature of this event, we are unable to accommodate children under 8 years old.
Guests Will:

Craft their own log candle holder

Hand-dip a candle

Try your hand at using period tools

Bake bread

Learn about how clothing was made, and make a 9-patch quilt block
The guided portion of the event will run from 10:00am – 1:00pm. Guests are welcome to have a snack picnic (bring your own) on the Stauffer-Will lawn between the 3rd and 4th activity rotation, and are welcome to picnic on the lawn after the program. Site closes at 2pm. You may also be interested in enjoying the best that Aurora has to offer with a visit to one of the local lunch spots in the historic downtown.

Tickets must be purchased in advance. This ticketed event is limited seating. Tickets are non-refundable. Should the event be cancelled tickets will be refunded.
