Spring Break is a time to play and explore! If you are sticking around town, keeping the kids occupied is a priority (at least in our home). We have rounded up some great options for Spring Break Camps.
Join Trackers for spring break to get outside during the best of the season. New themes each day for March 23-27 featuring outdoor explorations, archery, storytelling, blacksmithing and more! Adventure in favorites like Fires, Forts & Shelters and School of Magic; plus exciting new themes like Oregon Weird and the Adventures of Captain Jack. One- and two-day options for age 4 – Grade 12.

Children will become printmakers this week. They’ll use professional grade materials. They’ll even get to print one of their designs on a shirt. Our camps have an arts focus, but some literacy activities are tied into each week’s theme. Campers also go on daily field trips: Oaks Park, North Clackamas Aquatic Park, Portland Art Museum, and more!

Keep your child spinning, flipping and jumping while school is out!
Each day starts with an engaging warm-up, then moves through our core classes in aerial trapeze and fabric, partner acrobatics, juggling, and performance. Every day of camp will conclude with a short circus demonstration for friends and family! Spring break circus camp runs March 23 – March 27 from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm. Aftercare is available, in partnership with our neighbors Playdate PDX.

Join us for Nerf Camp or Ninja Warrior camp. In Nerf camp kids will play a variety of games such as; capture the flag, elimination, and many more. Students in Ninja Warrior camp will learn the skills used on the Ninja Warrior TV show, and compete in time trials! If you need even more fun, sign up for the all ages open gym between the two camps, giving you a whole day of activities.

Celebrate Spring Break with The Listening Cap! This traditional Japanese story tells us of trees, animals, compassion, and the importance of listening to nature – plus a little magic. Studios use mostly up-cycled materials for projects in visual arts, fibre, glass and more. Cost: $220/camper. Extended hours for $60 (or $10/hour) from 3-6 pm. Mazama Wild Spring Break Camp is for young adventurers grades 1-3. Campers will indoor rock climb four sessions, including climbing games and building technique on the wall. While not climbing, we will explore nearby Laurelhurst Park and the natural wonders we find right here in our backyard. On Friday, we venture up to the Mazama Lodge on Mount Hood where we’ll build snow caves, sled, and sip hot chocolate to conclude a week of adventure.

Friends of Tryon Creek Nature Day Camp aims to inspire and nurture relationships with nature by creating experiences rooted in belonging, curiosity and exploration. Here, campers cultivate ecological and cultural understanding while building life-long friendships in our unique, urban forest. Nature Day Camps balance camp traditions like songs, skits, hikes, crafts, and games with hands-on field studies designed to enhance science education and connection to the natural world.
Ages: 5–14 or entering K to 9th grade (age 5 by 9/1)
Location: Tryon Creek State Natural Area is located in SW Portland and is about 15 minutes from downtown.
NCPRD is offering two great camps this Spring Break: Hoopers Basketball Camp (co-ed & all girls) & Dance and Yoga Camp.
Basketball: Hit the court to execute the basics and pick up new skills from a variety of activities, drills and exciting games. Camps are open to all skill levels. March 23-27.
Yoga: Explore quiet movement and creative dance through activity, games, songs, group yoga, meditation and basic postures. March 23-26
Experience the magic of theater! We offer First Stage half-day camps for our youngest performers and full-day camps for older kids. Try an Explore camp, and enter the world of drama through themed play and games, or strengthen your acting and musical theater technique in our Skills camp. We also offer Playlabs, where students experience the thrill of putting on a fully-costumed play from start to finish. Before and after care is available.

Spring Break Art Camp at Owl & Bee Clay Company is an extraordinary week of exploring your child’s creativity through unique ceramic art, print making, handmade paper arts, mixed media sculpture and more! Help your children soar this spring break in Sensational Play’s aerial yoga and mindfulness camp! They’ll do lots of wiggling and giggling, gain strength, flexibility and confidence, while learning a new mindfulness lesson each day. We balance time in the hammock with time on the ground playing games that engage the senses and spark creativity. Kids just know it’s FUN! Choose whichever days you’d like or come all four days.

Tucker Arts Camp takes over Spring Break! From March 23-27, campers will explore the themes of spring and renewal through diverse art and storytelling studios led by professional artists. The week will end with a grand final performance for families to come watch and enjoy. Located in SE Portland, our campus offers a large organic garden, tree house classroom, chickens and goats, indoor rock climbing wall, and plenty of outdoor space for children to be inspired by the natural world.

Vibe Studio Spring Break will have daily workshops focusing on different mediums for each session. There are 1/2 day and full day options for kids to attend. Each session is a la carte so families can have flexibility in planning out their spring break week!
