Help children in need, teach your kids about volunteering and make new friends–come volunteer with us!
Join PDX Parent on Saturday, May 20 as we work with Northwest Children’s Outreach to help children in need. NCO reaches out to children from birth to age 18 who are going without the most basic needs like diapers clothing, shoes, formula and toys.
We will be sorting through donations made to NCO and carefully checking them for usable items, which are then organized by gender and size for the children.
This opportunity is great for ages 4 and up. Registration is capped at 30 people per time slot, so sign up soon to reserve your spot!
Ali Wilkinson is one of the founders of PDX Kids Calendar, and a lawyer, writer and podcaster. She loves exploring the Pacific Northwest, especially when the explorations lead outdoors, to music or to ice cream.
