Bring your homeschool family out for a Forest Field Day, and explore the trails and tree collections of Hoyt Arboretum with a Nature Educator!

Forest Field Day is designed for individual homeschool families. Participants should be prepared to work together, meet new people from other homeschool families, and participate in hands-on, inquiry-based nature activities.

Each Forest Field Day’s theme encourages students to understand the importance of place and how to engage with nature on a seasonal basis. 2024 topics will  include birds, flowers and pollinators, ferns, berries, seeds, mushrooms, and hibernation.
