Celebrate 100 years of the Oaks Park Carousel on National Carousel Day! Since 1926, this treasured landmark has delighted generations of families, and they’re marking its milestone with a day of special activities honoring its remarkable history.
Free carousel rides all day from 12-8 PM. Explore historical displays highlighting the Carousel’s century-long legacy, pick up a commemorative souvenir button while supplies last, and take a memorable ride alongside Portland’s Royal Rosarians from 2:00–3:00 PM. At 3:00 PM enjoy a free slice of birthday cake while supplies last.
