Girls Count offers life skills and leadership workshops designed just for girls. Their new space in Portland will be a hub for girl empowerment, creative problem-solving and female mentorships. Your donation will help to inspire the next generation of female leaders and innovators by giving girls aged 11-14 a space to socialize safely and learn from their peers.

Journey is a Christ-centered theater arts program that exists to grow youth and their families in character and purpose to be difference-makers in their world.
Along with classes and camps, Journey provides shows where students fill the roles of cast and crew and parents work alongside on production committees for a unique multi-generational experience!

NW Dance Project is dedicated to the creation and performance of new contemporary dance works, with over 300 original contemporary dance works premiered in Portland to date. Portland’s international dance leader is committed to advancing dance education, equity, and community engagement through its cost-free Dance Moves arts participation and access programs; robust classes for youth and adults of all levels and abilities; and special programs for rising, aspiring, and in-transition professional dancers. NW Dance Project’s light, spacious, and beautiful NE Portland Creative Center has grown to become a crucial multi-functional community resource and arts support center.

More than a tourist destination, the Aquarium plays an important role in connecting people with the Pacific and its marine life, and inspiring them to protect the ocean and its inhabitants. Our oceans face a variety of threats, including acidification, plastic pollution, sea rise, melting arctic ice, and species extinction. We are one of three wildlife rehabilitation facilities in the Pacific Northwest, and the only one in Oregon authorized by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, to provide specialized care to endangered marine life. Every year, we provide critical care to an average 280 rescued, injured and/or endangered marine animals.

For 38 years Willowbrook has offered an immersive experience that teaches approximately 500 students per day, ranging from 3 to 18 years of age.  In addition, Willowbrook has received repeated accolades for arts education, including best summer camp. There are activities in more than 30 different visual and performing arts and nature areas.
Deeply rooted in nature and the community, Willowbrook has carved a unique niche. It’s an environment where children are emboldened to ignite their creative spirit, discover hidden talents, fuel their imagination, and champion their individuality.

Portland Audubon’s passionate and growing community has loved and advocated for Oregon’s wildlife and wild places for more than 100 years. Broadway Rose Theatre Company contributes to the cultural growth and educational needs of the community by providing musical theater opportunities for children and youth. The theatre offers spring and summer youth and teen drama camps, high school and college-aged technical internships, and presents an educational musical to the Tigard-Tualatin School District each winter.

With a foundational commitment to access, Metropolitan Youth Symphony reaches 500 young musicians of all backgrounds, ages and levels of experience each year. With fifteen orchestra, band, and jazz ensembles that rehearse at sites in Portland and Hillsboro, MYS develops the whole musician, providing theory classes, small group coaching with Oregon Symphony musicians, and collaboration with performers across artistic disciplines. Free beginning strings classes, tuition assistance, and in-school performances for thousands of low-income students each season, help to reach young people from a wide variety of backgrounds.  This year’s innovative online program is open for winter term enrollment.

Northwest Children’s Theater is known for imagination and creative problem-solving. In the seven months since COVID-19 closed their physical doors, NWCT’s artists, teachers, and staff have earned that reputation by fully embracing digital education and performance. They have kept their mission alive and thriving, offering free online content, hundreds of digital classes, and becoming the first children’s theater in the country to adapt a major musical specifically for digital audiences.

They are 100% committed to continuing their mission to educate, entertain, and enrich the lives of young audiences and can only do so with support from the community.

Sauvie Island Center’s mission is to educate children, families, and the community about food, farming and the land. They offer a variety of customize-able field trips at their home on Topaz Farm, as well as summer camps and other family-friendly programming. SIC encourages hands-on exploration during their programming – everything from planting seeds and harvesting in the Grow Lunch Garden to digging around in the worm bin.

The Oregon Garden is non-profit botanical garden located in Silverton, Oregon. This botanical wonderland features a tram tour, children’s garden, and miles of walking paths in its 80-acres of gardens.
