From our friends at the Oregon Symphony
Join the Oregon Symphony for The Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra on Sunday, February 2 at 2 pm. We’ll spirit the young audience away for a musical adventure inside the orchestra with Britten’s The Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra. But we promise to bring them back with smiles on their faces!
Actress/narrator Pam Mahon and Dance West join associate conductor Norman Huynh and the entire Oregon Symphony orchestra for this Kids Concert. Oregon Symphony Kids Concerts are about an hour in length, and are designed specifically for listeners 5 to 10 years young – it’s okay to move around in your seat, laugh, and clap! There’s no better way to introduce your little ones to the thrills of live orchestral music! Concerts are both educational and entertaining – an experience the whole family can enjoy.
Join the Oregon Symphony and Kennedy Violins in the concert hall lobby starting at 1 pm for an Instrument Petting Zoo, which provides kids and the young at heart with a hands-on opportunity to try a variety of string instruments.
