Friends of Tyron Creek

Tryon Forest Adventures Winter Camp offers children time to grow, learn, and have fun outdoors at Tryon Creek State Natural Area, December 18– 22. Hiking trails and crossing bridges over Tryon Creek, youth observe the sights and sounds of the forest. They practice nature observation skills and find wintertime wildlife. Inside they engage in stories and art to learn how a variety of cultures celebrate the solstice and the new year.


Adventures in Spanish

Spanish Around the World is an Adventures in Spanish special winter camp that gives children the opportunity to experience vibrant Spanish cultures! This camp offers engaging language lessons, fun cultural activities, and cooking for a memorable and educational adventure.


Hoyt Arboretum

Join Hoyt Arboretum’s Nature Educators to create simple, nature crafts using leaves, cones, acorns, sticks, lichens, and more! Participants will be able to make their own unique creations using materials gathered from around the Arboretum to take home. Crafts are designed for ages 5+, but all are welcome!


North Clackamas Parks and Recreation District

Keep your kids engaged and having fun while school is out for winter break! Inquisitive young minds can discover the world around them with NCPRD’s STEAMVentures Science Winter Break Camps. PTFC Camps

Join PTFC Camps this winter during school breaks to stay active and improve your soccer skills! PTFC Camps are a great way to improve your game, make new friends, and most importantly, have fun. Their soccer camps are open to all children between the ages of 5-13, of all playing levels from beginner to advanced. They have partnered with The Plex Indoor Center and Portland Indoor Center to host recreational soccer camps this December-February.

Step into a world of wonder and excitement with A-WOL Dance Collective’s Winter Break – Youth Beginners Camp! Students will have the opportunity to practice their aerial skills and will also be exposed to other disciplines of circus such as dance, tumbling, and prop spinning.
