Looking for a Christmas tree adventure? Here are some of the local u-cut tree farms that surround the Portland-metro area. Take the whole family and find the perfect tree. Many farms also offer food and drink, a chance to see animals or meet Santa!

Beaverton Family Holiday U-Cut Tree Farm
Family owned and operated Christmas tree farm in operation since 1978 with a wide selection of pesticide-free, full, hand sheared Douglas Firs, the Oregon state tree, and a sprinkling of nobles. Enjoy complimentary hot apple cider during your visit.
When: November 30 to December 1. Only one weekend this year.

Christmas Mountain Choose and Cut
Acres of trees, including lots of tall Noble, Douglas, and Grand Firs. Free wagon rides, free hot drinks and candy canes, saws provided, cutting assistance if requested, spectacular views, and a festive atmosphere. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be there November 29-December 1 and December 7-8, 9 am-3 pm.

Frog Pond Christmas Tree Farm
Frog Pond Farm is a fresh-cut tree farm (the trees will be pre-cut), but the farm offers lots of family activities, including an animal exhibit, camel, Christmas store, kids’ movie room, free coffee, cocoa, cider and candy cane. Santa visits every weekend.

Furrow Farm
Fresh cut and u-cut trees available, including Noble, Nordmann, Grand, and Douglas Fir. Warming fires and farm animals to view. Saws and twine provided. Tractor ride, hot cocoa and candy canes all complimentary.

Green Ridge Christmas Tree Farm

Helvetia Christmas Tree Farm
Offering u-cut and pre-cut trees, tractor-train rides, an open fire pit with free marshmallows, artificial snow every five minutes, visits with Santa Claus, display of hobby trains, farm animals, an art workshop and a gift shop.
When: November 29-December 1 and December 7-8, 9 am-4 pm. December 14-15 pre-cut only

Loch Lolly Christmas Forest
The Christmas Forest features 28 acres of Douglas Firs, Frasier Firs, Grand Firs, Noble Firs, and Nordmanns. U-cut and pre-cut trees, plus warming shelter, coffee, hot chocolate and a gift shop. Santa and live reindeer will be there on weekends between November 29 and December 15. There is also a breakfast with Santa on December 1 (RSVP by November 22).

Plumper Pumpkin Patch and Tree Farm
You can pick out a tree from the store, use one of their saws to cut one down yourself, or have one of the Plumper staff cut it down for you. Hot drinks, pumpkin donuts, and snacks available for purchase. Check out the store and farm animals. Santa will be there December 7-8 and 14-15 from 10 am to 4 pm. You are welcome to take your own photos.

Quail Creek Ranch Christmas Trees
Visit this 20-acre family-owned tree farm, offering Noble Firs, Douglas Firs, Grand Firs, Fraser Firs, Nordmann Firs, Turkish Firs, and Serbian Spruce. You can hike along the creek, and enjoy a free candy cane and hot cocoa by the fire pit! U-Cut or we-Cut trees.

Sauvie Island Farms
Just 10 miles from Downtown Portland, this farm offers Douglas, Grand and Noble Firs, as well as wreaths and garlands. Hot drinks and cookies available for purchase. On-leash dogs welcome.

Washougal River Christmas Trees
Washougal River Christmas Trees offers Noble and Douglas Firs, wreaths and table-top trees, too. This year, they will mostly be a pre-cut tree farm. Free cocoa and candy canes and a large covered area with animals, including wiener pigs, rabbits, dwarf goats, miniature horses, and Elvis the mini donkey.
November 29 to December 18, open daily 9 am-5 pm. Closing date may change due to availability of trees.

Redland Family Farm
U-cut and pre-cut, but limited trees this year to maintain a healthy stock for future years. Enjoy a full Christmas experience, including free coffee, s’mores and hot cocoa, craft station for kids to write letters to Santa, free wagon rides, bounce house, petting zoo and visits with Santa. Be sure to visit the Farm café and Country store.
