Santa Claus is coming to town. In fact, there are rumors he’s already been spotted in some nearby malls. Have your kids get their wishlist together, and head out for a photo op with Santa at one of these spots. You can also sometimes meet Santa when picking out your holiday tree at a U-Cut Tree Farm.

Santa at Washington Square Mall 
Santa will be at the Washington Square Mall starting November 20 in Summit Court. Rest assured, he and his elves have made every effort to provide a memorable — and contact free — experience. A visit with Santa is always free and available without a reservation as social distancing requirements allow. Closed Thanksgiving. Hours and days vary; check website.

Black Santa Parade
Black Santa will be making his way through East Portland on Saturday, December 12 from 1:45 pm-3 pm. See a map of his route here. This event is planned for social distancing. Free.

Black Santa Wonderland
This will be a drive-through experience from the comfort of your vehicle to keep you, your loved ones, and Santa’s helpers safe.  Santa will be safely secure in his snow globe outside. Each vehicle will get their turn to exit the car to take pictures with Santa with their own camera or cell phone. Santa will be giving each carload a Christmas goodie bag. Tickets required for social distancing.
Tabor Heights United Methodist Church, 6161 SE Stark St., Portland
When: Saturday, December 19 –  Sunday, December 20.
Cost: Free.

Santa at Clackamas Town Center
Take your picture with Santa or visit Santa virtually. Social distancing and masks required for in-person visits.
When: November 10-December 24. Closed for Thanksgiving. Hours vary.
Where: Clackamas Town Center, 12000 SE 82nd Ave., Happy Valley
Cost: Photo packages are available for purchase.

The Cinnamon Bear Holiday Show
Santa makes an appearance at The Cinnamon Bear Holiday Show, an all-new, drive-in concert to be enjoyed from the socially-distanced safety of your own car. Get caught up in a fun and whimsical holiday story with special appearances by the Cinnamon Bear, Chipper the Squirrel, and Santa Claus, and help them to save the Spirit of Christmas!
When: Thursdays-Sundays, November 27-December 31.
Where: Oaks Amusement Park. 7805 SE Oaks Park Way, Portland
Cost: $49 per vehicle. One ticket valid for all vehicle occupants. Tickets must be purchased online in advance.

Kona Ice of North Clackamas and Rose City Deliveries by Santa
Order a package of six King Kocoas or King Konas to be delivered by Santa in the Kona truck on select dates. Santa will serve you through the truck’s open window, and you can take photos with him, say hello, and even give him your letters. The visit takes approximately 10 minutes and includes a candy cane, and lots of drink toppings and flavor add-ons. Packages start at $45 for six drinks.

Home Visit from Santa
Cookie Pot Children’s Boutique in Gladstone is coordinating outdoor, socially-distanced chats with Santa, who will come to your home. Santa will be masked and requests that children are, too. Visits start at $40.

Photos with Santa at Pioneer Place
Take your picture with Santa or visit Santa virtually. Social distancing and masks required for in-person visits.
When: Photos with Santa Friday, November 27-Tuesday, December 24. See website for hours.
Where: Pioneer Place, Lower Level Rotunda
Cost: Photo packages are available for purchase.

Free Virtual Chats with Santa (courtesy of Mad Greek Deli)
Mad Greek Deli is hosting Zoom sessions with Santa, with an optional donation. Book a time on their calendar for a 10-minute meeting.
When: November 27-December 20; select dates

Cost: Free or with a donation to support their business.

Pro Santa Jeff
Pro Santa Jeff is an experienced, local Santa offering virtual visits this year. Most video chats are $20 for fifteen minutes.

Santa’s Wonderland at Cabela’s
Reservations and temperature screenings are required to meet Santa for a contactless visit.  Families can also mail their letter to Santa and bring home free holiday craft activity kits while supplies last.
When: November 7-December 27
Where: Cabela’s Tualatin, 7555 Southwest Nyberg Street
Cost: Receive a free 4×6 photo when you provide your email address. Photo packages available for purchase.

Santa at Lloyd Center
The Lloyd Center is planning to offer in-person Santa Land experiences modified to follow social distance guidelines and safety practices. Check their website for the latest information. 100% of proceeds are donated to Howard’s Heart, a local nonprofit that supports foster young adults. Character appearances will be moved to an interactive window display where you can visit and interact with them this holiday season and take pictures safely.
